Typical 95-degree Philly August soup instead of weather today.

Minami and I took a jaunt to the Glenside Farmers' Market. Got great eggplant, okra, and corn from one stand, and organic basil from another. Coming from Portland it's not much, but it'll have to do for now.

Made okra and tomato stew tonight that approximated the evil magic at our favorite Lebanese place in Portland reasonably well. If you ever come across a large quantity of okra, I recommend it without reservation.
